A statistical method for the analysis of hygienic measurements in the air in a territory is presented, which allows an evaluation of the air-hygienic situation on the basis of measuring random samples and which furnishes comparable results for different measuring programmes without suppositions about the frequency distribution of the appearing values of concentration.
