Description :
The Dutch landscape has resulted largely from human intervention in natural processes. It represents an eloquent equilibrium between people and their environment. The Zuiderzee reclamation works is a long-term and large scale planning effort in the Netherlands. A review of this project illustrates what can be learned from Dutch land-use planning.
