Pokles zatok a usti rek na Apeninském poloostrove. (The subsidence of bays and river mouths on the Apennine Peninsula)

Description :
One of the results of intensive sinking of blocks on the Apennine Peninsula is the subsidence of ancient landing places of harbours. Relevelling have shown the sinking of the Po-delta, too. Drowned bays and river mouths seem to verify the fact that minor blocks of the earth's crust sink more rapidly than their surroundings. (MS).
