Inorganic geochemistry.
Auteur :HENDERSON, P.
Description :
The first part defines the chemical composition and nature of the Earth, Moon and meteorites and describes theories of element formation. Its aim is to show the compositional framework within which geochemical processes operate. The second part reviews and discusses the chemical principles structural, thermodynamic and kinetic involved in element distribution in igneous and metamorphic rock systems and discusses the uses of isotopes in problems of petrogenesis and ore genesis. The third part deals with the geochemistry of continental and oceanic waters, including the topic of rock-water interaction.
