In this thesis a description is given of the Holocene evolution of the coral reel complexes of the Spermonde Archipel and the geomorphogenesis of the adjacent coastal plain. After an introduction referring to the existing theories concerning the causes of sea level changes, the need for local sea level curves is stressed.-(AGD).
