Starting form the tasks of Water Management Board Küste the conception is given for scientific-technical works of investigations aiming at the evaluating fundamentals of coastal protection in the southern Baltic. The espired knowledges shall make it possible to use only such constructions and building manners interfering into the play for natural forces that the success to be reached for natural longer times may be expected. The researchwork is done of the area of Mecklenburger Bucht (Bay of Mecklenburg). The evaluation of the play of natural forces may obtain significance beyond the original purpose of the works.
