Les traces de buttes périglaciaires (pingos? palses?) des Hautes Fagnes

Description :
The viviers of the Hautes Fagnes Plateau are described and the question whether they had been formed by injection or segregation ice is discussed, and following from this, whether they should be called remains of pingos or palsas. Sections cut through two of the ramparts are examined and the results of heavy mineral analysis and palynological studies given.
