Auteur :
KOLP, O.

Description :
After preliminary reference to the tilting of South Baltic Coast, its representation by a new scheme should be tested with the help to wellknown geological and archaeological findings. Offering new clues to coastal engineering, the method to drivate curves of coastal removing at any place may be notable. Furthermore on overlook the given of tilted coast of GDR, situated on both sides of the isostatic zeroline. Questions of the coastal balance of ports sanding up and of submerging islands refer to the contrary development of both halves of our coast. The knowledge of genesis of the coastal stretch, of harbours and shoals during the last thousand of years is necessary to evaluate the tendency at present and in future times correctly. Information on the amount of isostatic movement seems to be valuable for prognosis especially because of its long period of validity on the southern coast of the Baltic. On the other hand the eustatic component is subjected to secular and short-termed variations of climate and atmospherical circulation.
