The study deals with soil moisture content of the different soils of the Weeze-region near Kleve. It includes the analysis of some microclimatic features of different morphological systems. Soil moisture contents linked with vegetation cover. Three types of vegetation are analysed with more detail: deciduous forest of a moraine lobe near Kleve, heath vegetation in the Netherlands and another heath-like vegetation near Weeze. Microclimate differences, differences of soil moisture content and vegetational cover are interrelated. (l'A.).
