The socio-economic spatial structure of Ostrow Wielkopolski: a principal component analysis

Description :
This article presents the results of research into the spatial structure of the town of Ostrow Wielkopolski. Use was made of principal component analysis to transform the empirical variables into a pattern of new variates. On the basis of this pattern, three basic components of the town's spatial structure were identified, and the spatial differentiation of the town in terms of two and three dimensions has been determined.
