Estimation des dégâts causés par les oiseaux aux céréales en Algérie

Description :
A method for evaluating bird damage to cereal crops (barley and wheat) has been tested during 1977 in N. W. Algeria. The damage distribution has been interpreted with reference to Spanish Sparrow colonies. The collected informations revealed that birds did not feed randomly within the study area and within the fields. A simplification of the sampling method is proposed.
