Description :
The interrelations of office location and physical planning in some Dutch metropolitan areas: The Hague, Breda, Groningen, Zwolle, Nijmegen. The contrasts between functional structures and contact patterns of offices in several case-studies are discussed in relation to national physical planning strategies and regional socio-economic policies. The gap between actual office locational behaviour and planning goals is a striking one, demonstrating that planning control is not effective. (AGD).
