Description :
The macrostructure of the settlement network in Bulgaria is presented by 291 administrative units called settlement systems widely varying in size and functions. This work makes an analysis of the microstructure within these systems. Their second centers play an important role in this respect. Proceeding from the caracteristics of 852 secondary centers suggestions on strategy and concrete solutions were made through the carrying out of the Unified Plan for territorial organization.
