Structure des populations phyto-planctonique dans trois lacs du Massif Central: successions écologiques et diversité

Auteur :

Description :
In the three lakes concerned with the present study, it has been possible to find out phytoplanktonic population successions as reported by MARGALEF (1967) in sea environment. Since each of the well known three stages corresponds to a particular functionnal structure of the population, specific diversity has been used to give a distinctive character to them. As no diversity index is known to distinguish stage 3from stage2, rank-frequency diagrams proposed by FRONTIER (1969) have been used From the different types of shape of these curves it is possible to determine the three stages and to note the immature character of algal populations in eutrophic lakes when no equilibrium stage is realised.
