Description :
The sensitivity equations and the first order sensitivity formalism developed in this study are applied to west-central Kansas aquifer. This is an unconfined aquifer which is pumped heavily for irrigation purposes. It is shown that the sensitivity analysis is of great value in the modeling of large systems with arbitrary boundaries and several wells. Thus it should be an integral part of all computer models.
