Housing patterns and values in a medium-sized Third World city: Georgetown, Guyana

The city in the third world is the subject of much current research. However, Little has been written about the middle order third world city, the pressures they have experienced and how they have coped with these pressures. This study attempts to analyse one such city, Georgetown, Guyana, through an investigation of plot subdivision and house values. By looking at the city as a whole overall patterns and relationships can be identified.
