An exceptional intraplate earthquake sequence in Meloy, Northern Norway

Description :
A unique earthquake sequence began in Meloy, Northern Norway, in November 1978, and 10weeks later about 10000shocks had been recorded from a volume not larger than 10 8 6km. The largest earthquake occured on 28November, 1978, with an ML magnitude of 3.2 and a maximum MM intensity of VI.
