Let N (I) be a cloud in an Euclidean space| let C be a partition of I| and let N (C) be the cloud of gravity centers of the partition classes. It is shown here, in the form of a problem and accompanying solution, that each principal moment of inertia of N (C) is less than or equal to the moment of the same rank of N (I).
