Les environs nord et est de Madrid. Présentation d'une carte morpho-pédologique au 1/100000 en couleurs

Auteur :
VAUDOUR, J.

Description :
In the vicinity of Madrid the limits of the rather simple landforms still coincide, at the scale of 1/100000, with the pedological units (13 soil groups or subgroups). The alluvial terraces and the high and wide Villafranchian levels retain old soils more or less bleached, rubefied and encrusted after the geochimical environment characteristics and the topographical age. The geopedological map sums up the data usually given by a geomorphological map and a pedological map. It underscores the great regional topographical units: levelled granito-gneissic shelf and sandy-feldspathic foot-hills to the Western and Northwestern domain of the great chronosequences of reddish soil upon terraced alluvial masses made of quartzitic shingles to the Eastern and Northeastern basins and plateaus of clayish, gypseous or calcareous Southern domain.
