Theoretical bases of a technique for prognosticating local structures by gravimetric exploration data and a wide-mesh network of seismic prospecting profiles were fixed by means of a mathematical apparatus (model) for the complex interpretation of results obtained by various geological-geophysical methods during the investigation of the deep geological structure of probable oil and gas-containing regions. This technique was used in West Yakutia, where positive results were achieved. From the experiences results that it is suitable to use the technique at a low and uneven degree of investigation, and in particular in the shelf zone.
