In the monography the principles for definition of geological age of archeological sites are given as well as geological description of the main Paleolithic sites and paleogeographic characteristics of the time of inhabitation of Paleolithic man. The description is produced for the important regions-West Siberia and Altai, Yenisei river valley, Upper Angara, Upper Lena, West Transbaikalian, Aldan, Far East and North-East. The scheme of geological division of Paleolithic is proposed for mentioned regions.
