A minimum age for the deglaciation of Mt. Kinabalu, East Malaysia in Modern Quaternary research in southeast Asia.

Description :
There is evidence for the glaciation of Mount Kinabalu in Borneo (4,100 m). A minimum age of 9,186 120 years BP for the end of this glaciation in provided by C assay of the lowest organic horizon from the Sacrificial Pool, a small water body lying at 4000 m within the glaciated area. This date is slightly younger than those from similar altitudes on other equatorial mountains.
