Description :
The geomorphological and bioclimatological conditions of Plzen agglomeration is unfavourable in comparison with other large towns in Czechoslovakia. In the Plzen basin are frequent inversions of temperature, and fogs decrease the annual sum of sunshine in consequence of increasing air pollution, due to the localization of Skoda factories on the Western outskirts of the town.
