Reconnaissance structurale par géophysique du prolongement méridional du massif granitique du Saut-du-Saumon (Corrèze)

Description :
The interest of geophysics (the magneto-telluric method in the present case) to locate this kind of structure is illustrated. Results are shown according to their order of credibility. We have shown the continuation of the granitic body under the sedimentary cover. The thickness of the overburden is determined and a cross-section of the body is drawn. Tectonical implications of these results give light on certain regional phenomenons.
