The presidential address of a conference on Geography and Planning held in Nigeria, in which it is made clear that trained Nigerian geographers have a valuable contribution to make both in the Civil Service and in the private sector of the economy. A case is made for the establishment of a Centre for Regional Planning. (EMS).
