Geo-systems are compared with ecosystems and territorial systems of the reproductive process of society. With the help of the cybernetic approach, they are described as complex, dynamic and open systems of the epigeosphere. Their overall control mechanism is effected by geosynergetic processes and their internal and external matter and energy exchange. The concept of geo-systems of the geographic landscape research employs the characteristics of these systems, calling for an aspect-confined, dimension-specific and standardizing explanation of the geo-systems, including their delimitation according to the principle of incomplete linking.
