Caractérisation des pluies en Belgique du point de vue de leur intensité et de leur érosivité

Description :
This paper includes a study of intensity-duration-frequency curves and a comment on rain erosivity (R factor of the American model). This research was done for 3 Belgian meteorological stations: Uccle, Saint-Hubert and Spa. The study shows that the mean annual precipitations only explains part of the differences observed between the stations as well for the intensity as for the erosivity. Intensity and erosivity are lowest at Uccle and Prighest at Spa. From this research it also appears that Uccle shows a significant increase of intensity and erosivity since the fifties.
