Etude des débits solides et du phénomène de migration dans une rivière drainant un bassin agricole

The measurements of solid discharge in the river Mehaigne (Hesbaye, Belgium) show that the mean loss of soil is 395 kg/ha since september 1973 to june 1977. The analyses of pesticides in this river conclude that the concentrations of these products are very small. These two studies show that the pollution by cultural practices is not important in the watershed. In the Mehaigne, the migration of a soluble product after a ponctual injection, can be described by the Taylor's equation. The values of the dispersion coefficient are estimated by the constant value of Elder.
