Description :
The term space is used in a strict physiognomic way. Three different classifying methods can be discerned: compartment method, vision-width method and the rastermethod. The author concludes that more research is needed to evaluate the different methods. Criteria could be the usefulness for planning purposes and the reality of the classifications when compared with the results of perception research. (AGD).
