Néotectonique et morphogenèse dans une péninsule méditerranéenne: le Péloponnèse

Auteur :
DUFAURE J. J.,

Description :
During the Plio-Pleistocène, the Peloponnesus is a very unstable peninsula. The fault-scarps (tectonic or partly rejuvenated show various interactions between neotectonic throws and climates, which were able to shape different slopes, largely concave between Villafranchian and Riss, partly rectilinear during the cold Riss and Würm in the limestones. The lowest marine terrasse and the ionian shoreline put the question of the interactions between the Neotectonics and the glacio-eustatic fluctuation. Systems of downstepping glacis d'érosion do not exist at all.
