Approche géographique du secteur tertiaire: l'exemple de l'Allemagne Fédérale Geographical Study of the tertiary sector: The example of the German Federal Republic

Auteur :
RIQUET P.,

Description :
Following the critic of the statistical categories of the tertiary sector in the last but one issue of the same review, the geographical study of service activities is based on employment figures and on wage levels. First step: the search for a national model of development, structure and quality of the tertiary sector under the influence of the size of towns. Second step: the study of regional and local disparities that cannot be adapted to inequal urbanization levels. In the view of comparative studies, some methodological projects are made here: the anascopic proceeding, the graphic application of which would be the dieresis, and a three-entry classification of the tertiary units, including the economic utility (business assistance, convenience, transfering, framing), the disposition of the units (central, dispersed, concentrated) and the nature of the service (omiletic, synodic, syntonic, grammatic, stereobolic).
