Une étude des propriétés dispersives d'un milieu aquifère, à l'échelle de l'échantillon

Description :
To be in good agreement with the mixing phenomena, experimental determinations of dispersion must be performed on preserved samples. The interpretation of experimental results is made difficult by the natural heterogeneity of the porous medium, wich results from the geological process of deposition of sedimentary formations. The AA. set up a simple model of heterogeneity where each sample is understood as two independent homogeneous media in parallel. This model allows a satisfactory representation of the results obtained on coquinoid-limistone samples, in spite of their intricate heterogeneity. This study shows the considerable role played by the structure of the natural medium in the dispersive properties of an aquifer one.
