Description :
This paper presents a tentative outline for studies analyzing one of the fundamental proportions in the investment process-the relation between industrial and social investment. This relation is analysed in the framework of Polish experiences in the years 1961-1970. The authors express the point of view that this approach is introducing new elements into the interpretation of industrialisation process and their respective role in regional development. (AA).
