Reserves of fossil fuels are not able to cover the increasing consumption of energy. The most suitable conditions for location of nuclear, solar, geothermal and wind energy establishments are in southern lowland-situated areas of Slovakia. It is necessary to deepen observation of ecological factors in utilizing of energy potential of the individual kinds of energy resources in the particular regions of Slovakia. - (MS)
