According to the mean monthly temperatures the peripheral stations are 0.4-2.1oC colder than the centre. This is a proof for the existence of urban heat island . In the period 1953-1983 the mean January temperature at 9 p.m. in Gric rosed by 1.7o and in Podsused by 1.9o. The mean July temperatures are 0.7o higher in Podsused and 0.2o higher in Gric. In all months there is a warm belt on the foothills of the Medvenica Mountain. - (L'Ed.).
