La restauration des cours d'eau en Wallonie.

Since several years, systems of replanting on river banks are tested| they are based on systematic observations made on more than 350 points of watercourses in Wallonie. On each of these sites, the principal physical and limnological parameters have been measured or estimated, all of the plants have been identified and their coverage estimated. In this way, the knowledge of their ecology was improved and their coverage estimated. Experiments which are based upon three principles edaphic zonation, conformity, physionomical diversity, have been established. The corresponding field works are presented here especially those in 3 sites.
