Active learning in geography and its practical management in schools in Geographical education.

Auteur :
BAILEY, P.

Description :
This paper is founded on the conviction that active methods of learning are in most cases superior to didactic methods of teaching. Geography, by its very nature, is particularly well suited to the development of active learning methods. The A. examines some managerial consequences of adopting these methods in a school, for pupils and teachers.
