Description :
Last (Third) volume of the monograph Geography of Bulgaria which contains two parts : physical and socio-economical regionalisation of the country. The first part (40 % of the whole text) begins with theoretical setting and review of the previous regionalisations. The AA. delimitate 2 physical-geographical provinces - Northern and Southern - each consisting 3 parallelly situated districts. The Black Sea region is not determined as independent province or district. Each district is thoroughly characterized as a natural complex. The socio-economic part (60 % of the text) also begins with theoretical-methodological clarification and review of the former attempts at regionalisation. According to a concept for 9 socio-economic regions (4 in South and 5 in North Bulgaria) follows extensive characteristics of each region. - (MB)
