The paper focuses attention on the new cooperation in industrial development between Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta. Both secondary and first-hand delta have been used to portrait the extent, nature and spatial configuration of the relationship in the form of industrial out-processing. In the conclusion, broad future implications of the two economics are discussed.
