La chorologie des gastéromycètes

Auteur :
DEMOULIN, V.

Description :
Gasteromycetes are well adapted to long distance dispersal by the wind and thus occupy the maximal area corresponding to their ecological needs or are only limited by major dispersal barriers (oceanic for example). They thus provide a model of the factors determining fungal areas that can be extended to groups less suited for such studies. Examples of distribution maps are presented on a regional (Belgium and Corsica) and continental scale (Europe and North America).
