The urban population potential of Kerala

The present paper is an attempt to evaluate the suitability of the concept of Population potential in the demarcation of urban-sub system in the state of Kerala. Population potential can also be used as an index for evaluating lands of urbanisation, degree of industrialisation and population distribution. The present study is based on the statistical formula for calculating the value of the potential. - (PLK)
