Description :
Application of GIS technology produced maps of Nepal showing districts with surplus, sufficiency and deficit in the output of human food, animal feed and fuelwood for the years 1981, 1989, and 2000. Further analysis of a deficit zone, Kabhre District, to determine what would be needed to achieve sufficiency in the three above resources. Thirdly, GIS techniques were applied to the Jhikhukhola watershed to produce micro climatic maps of that zone. - (DWG)
