Description :
Studies of the aftermath of the dense monsoon rainfall recorded in October 1968 when 25 percent of the cultivated land was transformed by mass movements as opposed to only 2 percent of the forested areas. Detailed investigations were carried out on slope and channel processes in order to correlate what kind of precipitation events can be expected to totally change the stream channel geometry. - (DWG)
