The A. describes the sample of women residing in the village of Kuujjuaq. The circumstances of fertility are discussed, the number of pregnancies is established and the use of contraception assessed, as well as the frequency of reproduction-related pathologies and sterility. In conclusion, the A. discusses the impact of socio-cultural changes on the way in which an Inuit unit is reproduced.
