Agrarian development, famine and foreign aid. The Ethiopian experience
Auteur :BRUNE, S.
Description :
The A. will attempt to give a brief review of the nature and scope of agrarian change in post-revolutionary Ethiopia. By summarizing Ethiopian economic growth and the performance of the agricultural sector since 1974, the A. will content that the policies of the Ethiopian government made a decisive contribution to the famine and civil unrest. He will argue that the recent droughts exacerbated, but did not cause the adverse trends that were evident before the drought. - (L'A.).
