Description :
Ch'ijees Bluff is an important datum for study of the last interglaciation in northern North America and because of this it has been designated as one of a number of northern references sites scheduled for detailed study under project CELIA (Climate and Environment of the Last Interglacial in Northern North America). Pollen and fossils data are discussed (plant macrofossils, insect and other arthropod fossils).
