The essential of this paper are the ten large-scale planning aims of the development of DPRK, which were passed in 1980 by the VIth party rally of the Korean Workers Party. In the preliminaries the perspective aims are explained. The major part deals with the production and distribution of productive sites of those branches of economic activity, which are enclosed in the perspective aims as : energy production, coal-mining, production of steel and nonferrous metals, cement, fertilizers, textiles, yield of sea-products and grain. The further representations deal with the gaining of virgin land and the Nampo Barrage, which projects are in close connection with the perspective aims. The final remarks are on the socio-economic steps of the DPRK and on the characterization of the country as a socialist industrial country. - (l'Ed.).
