The article describes changes of ecologic conditions in the habitat of mammals of the Aral Sea southern surroundings. Ecosystems are destroyed as a result of dust pollution that is connected with sharp lowering of the Aral Sea level. The A. recommends to irrigate the dried-up part of the Aral Sea by river waters and to create field-protecting forest-belts consisting of salt-tolerant plants in order to decrease the influence of salt dust evacuation on mammals habitat. - (L'Ed.).
