Description :
The structure and changes of energy balance are traced out for the period 1950-85 on the basis of conditional fuel (coal equivalent unit). In East Europe the coal bears 59 % of the calculated conditional fuel in 1985. The A. introduces relevant conventional coefficient which is the ratio between the natural coal amount and the calculated amount of conditional fuel. The production of oil in CMEA countries reaches only 21 mln tons, while its consumption - 117 mln tons (80 % of the difference is imported from USSR). Gas extraction reaches 42 mld m3 and its consumption - 65 mld m3 (USSR being the only exporter). The rest of energy bearers in East Europe are also analyzed. - (MB)
