Out of the primary plane-table map surveys covering the state territory of Prussia, as they were worked out since the twenties of the last century the Berlin-section is used for the purpose of historical urban-geographical analysis. The date of publication of this map-section coincides with the beginning of an essential functional change from a feudal residence to a capitalistic metropolis.
